CHICKEN FEET, NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED

well these are my bargain steal, after buying these I saw identical like shades that cost about $150, but I got these for about $15 dollars, can you say "take away a zero mister and it's a deal".lol ... of course you would! :)

when did we lose the vision and just go for the "in the name of looking different" arts and crafts. I have no idea who thought the chicken leg would really give it some type of edge, the chicken shoe doesn't even look yummy [at least you could have given me that.lol.] ... if they could change the chicken leg to a black heel ...
If the heel was of the norm it wouldn't have made such an impact on me, but the leg changes everything!
//If getting noticed was what they wanted, you've got me hooked on "wtf!"

//TODAY: winner will be announced tomorrow at midnight, you still have time [remember there are two winners]

JIL SANDER.NINTIES MINAMALIST.

//JIL SANDERS//
Known as one of the major labels who pioneer minimalist aesthetics, these designs defiantely have an a timeless luxury to them. Part from being a mininalist designer inspiration for this German designer comes from the ninties which is very clear when you look at his pieces. I'm a big, big fan of ninties fashion, that era of fashion just makes my face glow. The colors he chooses are definately ninties inspired, and the tailored pieces make me nostalgic of a time I wasn't fully a part of.
Don't know if you'll remember Golden Girls, if you haven't heard of it you've missed a lot in vintage tv shows, showing four women [definately not your ordinary sweet old ladies] who go through life's experiences and their sex lives [especially from Blanch, the promiscouis one]. Every time I watched the episodes I would always look at their clothes and wish I could have one of their pieces, and if you know me, you'll know I love ninties clothes and jewellry. If from the above you can't see the ninties in these then from these images on the right and left, it definately spikes the colors and looks of the ninties hip-hop more afro-fashion that lead a movement into a trend of purely self-expression via colors and properly accessorizing pieces. Jil Sander's designs are very consistent and you know what to expect but what you'll never know what will come out. His pieces have that tailored mens look to them, which is understandable as he designed menswear for a while. Jil Sander neatly encapsulated fashion's turn away from the sartorial excesses of the go-go '80s and made understatement attractive. Armand Limnander Harper's Bazaar. You can find his collections on the runway in Milan, but on his site [HERE] , Barney's and Shopbop for his pieces. Love.

MEN.DRESSED TO IMPRESS YOU CASUALLY...PART: DEUX

MEN.MEN.MEN.CASUALLY DRESSY MEN.
my part two on men as inspiration, here are a few themed pictures, the saga like my part une on the GQ men [CLICK HERE]...I love these images 'cause these guys have a "sit down and relax" type of vibe to them, but you can still tell they love to look good by wearing each piece with caution. The pictures say it all about these stud.muffins, so enjoy looking at their instinct lead fashion choices...

STYLE INSPIRATION: MEN.MEN.MEN.GQ.MEN...PART UNE

[source: modeman-which you can find on carolinesmode.com/modeman, google images :)]

don't they look happy.lol. :D

if you know me you know that I'm completely inspired by men's fashion and men's style, even thought they don't have the same type of fashion freedom to do as women do [although the old rules of fashion are changing, avant-garde baby!], but there ability to make a look so simple look so inspiring by just adding a little bit of detail from the cuffs to the low socks they always find something that when you look close enough makes you go.....[yeah speechless, well that happens to me!]
my dad is also someone that helped me learn to appreciate detail and the family member who I get my fashion gene from and because of him I learnt less is more and detailing is everything [the influence to my designs]!!!
this is just part one of my style inspiration: men; here I'll do different types of men's wear styles in themes, I'm starting off with the GQ man, who pays attention to detail and adores sophistication in his looks and dresses like his being force to go to an event with his girlfriend with a smile on his face, every single day [24/7]

men's inspired style is my ideal sense of style and because I'm in Ghana and many people don't understand fashion [only of a niche of them do], and fashion here is looking expensive basically, personal style by expression isn't something you see very often...but if I had to bring up a look it would be men inspired, and as you know you environment can sometimes dumb down your true style and because you style isn't in demand [apparel wise] you're forced to make your own style using what everyone else is wearing...sad isn't it!! :(

that outfit is amazing, the coat and the shoes combined with the head wrap, which intrigues me on how she did it or if she bought it that way? and everything else!
