Still on that inspiration from my people. The bracelets and the fabric is just beautiful.
Whoever says people who wear traditional wear don't put fashionable detail in their looks never knew an African woman.
Side note: I also wanted to let you know that right now I'll be able to post photography I've done and maybe things I'm up to [unlikely but possibly] ... but right now a review post is pretty unlikely [sad face]. Right now things feel so hectic when I thought I would rest.
Can't wait to get home a relax a bit. :)

PHOTO-JOURNAL: WALKS TAKEN & NATURE APPRECIATED.
The poetry of the earth is never dead. ~John Keats
Went out to take a few pictures around campus with a friend, theme was just flowers and nature. These were taken a few days ago and I'm still on campus for a week since I'm going for a friends graduation so I have to stay back and this has helped me practice photography, doing intro to photography next semester but for now, I'm going to be self taught.
Should I get a flickr account? question I'm contemplating.

QUE THE LIGHTS ... AND LET ME SEE YOU.
QUE THE LIGHTS: Recently got an e-mail from Xavier of Que The Lights ... I'd actually been to his blog before but the only thing was that I was not aware he was into photography and actually was one.
Xavier who realized his dream about a year ago while at a Cannes Film Festival and although he was a newbie and might have gotten a bit intimidated by the professionalism that didn't get to him and his decision ... so with that he worked towards perfecting his passion, because sometimes it's not just enough to be talented [something I feel has been proven through history].
Personally I think he best with photography of people ... love his progression which you can see in most of his work especially when you view from his earlier work and also admire him for trying various types of photography of people and even the edits show variety.
He started off with a flip HD camera which he shot videos and short films with [yeah he does film too] ... after getting himself DSLR Canon that's when he started learning how to use it because I'm sure you'll agree when he says "It didn't make any sense in my opinion to have such a great camera, but not use it for what it's mainly made for."
Xavier is not just someone who is up & coming in the photography world but for the year he's been doing this he made some buzz. His film Bottom of a Glass won Best Drama at the Campus Movie Festival, got accepted at the Cannes Film Festival and the Alabama International Film Festival.
